Welcome!
Welcome Home! No matter who you are, or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here. We, the people of St. Francis, believe you are created in God’s image. We reflect the fullness of Our Creator’s love by welcoming you regardless of race, gender, age, culture, ethnic background, sexual orientation, economic circumstance, family configuration or differences in ability. You are encouraged to share your gifts and talents in worship, service, study and leadership. All are welcome in this place.

Come as you are! St. Francis gladly welcomes and joyfully accepts all people.
Whether you’re in jeans or a suit, we’ll be glad
to see you.
Diverse, Inclusive
and Progressive. We are an interracial mix of different
age groups, nationalities, lifestyles, economic situations,
political and theological persuasions (liberal, moderate,
and conservative.) At this Episcopal Church in Macon, Georgia,
all are welcome.
Youth & Children’s
Ministries. We have lots of young adults, youth,
and children. Aside from great grounds for playing, we offer
excellent programs of spiritual formation and fellowship for
our younger members including our great Church Youth Group.
Family Atmosphere. We are
just big enough to offer a variety of programs – but
small enough to know your name. It’s easy to get involved
here.
Social Action And Service.
We devote a large share of our budget to serving people in
need, both here in Macon, Georgia and internationally. Our
members devote time and effort to community ministries and
social action sponsored by St. Francis.
Spirituality. St.
Francis offers spiritual direction, pastoral counseling, and
retreats and workshops in meditation, contemplative prayer,
centering prayer, Jungian work, and other soul care practices
ancient and new. Our specialties are Anglican Spirituality
and Episcopal Prayer.
Worship Style. We are an Episcopal Church in the Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta, a member of the Anglican Communion. All are welcome to receive communion. Each service has a different style. 7:45 AM is short, simple, quiet. The 8:30 AM service is a traditional Rite II service with choir. The 11:15 AM service is more innovative and contemplative. We offer Anointing for Healing on the second Sunday of each month at the 8:30 AM and 11:15 AM services, and every Thursday at 10:00 AM.

you for visiting our web site!
We are a welcoming congregation, a
welcoming church. You don't have to "fit." Just
come on in!
